- Boulder City Council's summer agenda. Most people are thinking about summer vacation, but here's the low down on what's happening on city council this summer. (Boulder Beat)
- Changing of the guard at some of Boulder's best restaurants. New blood in Boulder kitchens brings delicious opportunities at some of the city's best-know restaurants. (303)
- Boulder County firework ban forces fireworks stands to shut down. Most wildfires aren't started by fireworks but the Boulder County Sheriff's Office sent deputies to notify the fireworks business it had to shut down due to fire restrictions that were put in place last week. (CBS4)
- The new area code arrives. Move over 303 and 720, the new 983 calling code is here. The new area code covers most of metro Denver, including: Aurora, Boulder, Brighton, Castle Rock, Englewood, Lakewood, Littleton, Thornton and Westminster. (CBS4)
- Hikers at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood held at gunpoint. In what appears to be an attempted kidnapping, the couple were hiking near Lakewood's Bear Creek Lake Park. The suspect was able to put a rope leash around the woman's neck and held her and her husband at gunpoint. (ABC)
