Boulder Co. Primary 2018: Get Those Ballots In The Mail

Where's my Boulder County ballot dropoff location? Time is running out to send your primary ballots to the county clerk's office.

BOULDER, CO – Mail-in ballots for the Colorado primaries June 26 should be in the post today if you want them to reach your county clerk's office by next Tuesday. Or you can drop them off in a 24-hour ballot box location (see below).

There are around 202,000 active voters registered in Boulder, including 91,144 Democrats, 33,321 Republicans and 77,736 unaffiliated voters.

So far, the Boulder County Clerk had tallied 24,791 ballots as of Tuesday. Of those, 17,914 were Democrat ballots, and 5,874 Republican ballots. Of the 6,130 unaffiliated voter ballots received, 3,986, or 65 percent were for in the Democratic primary, while 1.070, or 35 percent of unaffiliated voters participated in the Republican party.

As of Wednesday, 478,309 Coloradans had returned ballots for the primary election, Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams announced.

Of that total, 183,446 ballots were cast by Democrats, 185,810 by Republicans and 109,053 by unaffiliated voters. That's 11 percent of all 3,844,267 active and non-active voters in the state. In the past four elections, statewide, a total of 39,831 unaffiliated voters participated in the primaries. Of that, 24,092 voted the Republican ballot while 15,739 voted the Democratic ballot.
