Here's a list of coronavirus outbreaks reported in Boulder County.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — As Thanksgiving fast approaches and many people flock to businesses to grab last-minute items, public health officials are reminding people to wash their hands as much as possible and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

While many outbreaks have been reported in Boulder County schools and workplaces, no outbreaks have been reported over the past week at grocery stores in the county.

Every Wednesday, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment updates its list of outbreaks in each county. Some outbreaks have lasted more than a month since they were first detected.

More than 1,900 outbreaks have been reported in our state since the pandemic began. Between 4 p.m. Sunday and 4 p.m. Monday, 3,519 new cases of the coronavirus were reported in Colorado, according to public health data.

An emergency coronavirus alert was sent Sunday to residents in Level Red counties on the state's COVID-19 dial.

Many Colorado hospitals are at risk of reaching capacity as coronavirus rates climb. Gov. Jared Polis on Monday issued an executive order that allows the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to prevent hospitals that have reached capacity from taking in new patients. Under the order, when a hospital reaches capacity, it's required to notify the state agency, which can then order the hospital to stop taking new patients and transfer them to other area hospitals.
