Boulder County Coronavirus Update: 368 New Cases

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Over the past week, 368 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Boulder County, according to the latest public health data.

As of Thursday, 18,410 people in the county had tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began. The death toll has reached 245 after nine people died over the past week.

Around 521 people have been hospitalized since the outbreak began, and 22 new hospitalizations were reported over the past week, according to Boulder County Public Health. More than 366,998 tests have been conducted among county residents.

Total coronavirus cases reported since outbreak began:

• Boulder: 134 new cases reported over past week; 6,886 total cases
• Longmont: 114 new cases reported over past week; 6,327 total cases
• Lafayette: 23 new cases reported over past week; 1,492 total cases
• Unincorporated Boulder County: 51 new cases reported over past week; 1,569 total cases
• Erie: 16 new cases reported over past week; 435 total cases
• Louisville: 24 new cases reported over past week; 813 total cases
• Superior: 6 new cases reported over past week; 349 total cases

People ages 65 and older in Boulder County are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, but over the past several weeks, the allocation of doses has remained very limited, and appointments for the vaccine have been filling up quickly.
