Boulder County Coronavirus Update: 408 New Cases
Here's the latest news about the coronavirus in Boulder County, and a case breakdown by municipality.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Over the past week, 408 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Boulder County, according to the latest public health data.
As of Thursday, 17,556 people in the county had tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began. The death toll has reached 232 after one person died over the past week.
Around 474 people have been hospitalized since the outbreak began, and 20 new hospitalizations were reported over the past week, according to Boulder County Public Health. More than 338,500 tests have been conducted among county residents.

- Boulder: 158 new cases reported over past week; 6,602 total cases
- Longmont: 132 new cases reported over past week; 6,049 total cases
- Lafayette: 30 new cases reported over past week; 1,436 total cases
- Unincorporated Boulder County: 43 new cases reported over past week; 1,458 total cases
- Erie: 17 new cases reported over past week; 413 total cases
- Louisville: 19 new cases reported over past week; 781 total cases
- Superior: 6 new cases reported over past week; 321 total cases

People ages 70 and older in Boulder County are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, but over the past several weeks, the allocation of doses has remained very limited, and appointments for the vaccine have been filling up quickly.
