Boulder County Coronavirus Update: 486 New Cases
Here's the latest news about the coronavirus in Boulder County, and a case breakdown by municipality.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Over the past week, 486 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Boulder County, according to the latest public health data.
As of Thursday, 18,042 people in the county had tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began. The death toll has reached 236 after four people died over the past week.
Around 499 people have been hospitalized since the outbreak began, and 20 new hospitalizations were reported over the past week, according to Boulder County Public Health. More than 355,424 tests have been conducted among county residents.

- Boulder: 150 new cases reported over past week; 6,752 total cases
- Longmont: 164 new cases reported over past week; 6,213 total cases
- Lafayette: 33 new cases reported over past week; 1,469 total cases
- Unincorporated Boulder County: 60 new cases reported over past week; 1,518 total cases
- Erie: 6 new cases reported over past week; 419 total cases
- Louisville: 8 new cases reported over past week; 789 total cases
- Superior: 78 new cases reported over past week; 343 total cases

People ages 65 and older in Boulder County are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, but over the past several weeks, the allocation of doses has remained very limited, and appointments for the vaccine have been filling up quickly.
