Boulder County, Colo. - Several open space properties have active or planned trail closures due to wildlife protection, restoration work, or muddy trails. Please honor these important closures.

Caribou Ranch

SEASONAL WILDLIFE CLOSURE: The entire property is closed to protect spring migratory birds and elk calving and rearing. The park will reopen on July 1. boco.org/caribou

Twin Lakes

RESTORATION CLOSURE: A portion of the west lake trail and access points from the south will be closed for up to three weeks beginning April 27 for emergency bank stabilization (see access map at boco.org/TwinLakes).

Heil Valley Ranch

RESTORATION CLOSURE: The following trails are closed through Sept. 30 for wildfire restoration work and public safety concerns: Schoolhouse Loop, Overland Loop, Grindstone Quarry Trail, Lichen Loop, Wapiti Trail. boco.org/HeilFireRecovery
