Boulder County Government: Workforce Boulder County Offering Recruiting, Hiring, And Retraining Series For Minority-Owned Businesses

Boulder County, Colo.- Workforce Boulder County invites minority-owned businesses to partake in an upcoming Recruiting, Hiring & Retraining series this month during Workforce Development Month. The scheduled below training series will take place virtually and require advanced registration.

  • Recruiting & Hiring Talent September 22, 2021 6-7:30 p.m. This is an overview of how to recruit and hire talent in this market utilizing our services and resources, as well as discussion around the challenges faced by employers during this labor shortage.
  • Training Talent September 29, 2021 6-7:30 p.m. This provides a look at our Work Based Learning programs and how employers can access and utilize them as a way to recruit and retain talent.
  • Retaining Talent October 6, 2021 6-7:30 p.m. We will cover strategies to retain one of the best assets an employer already has, their already existing workforce, and discuss with other employers their success’ and challenges in retaining talent.
  • These trainings are being offered to help address the disproportionate inequities that are faced by minority groups in our community, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional trainings in the Spanish language will be offered in October.
