Boulder County Jail Inmate Charged With Attempted Murder
Stephen Christopher Wolf, 26, is accused of attacking his cellmate, Boulder County officials said.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — An inmate at Boulder County Jail has been charged with attempted 2nd-degree murder.
Stephen Christopher Wolf, 26, is accused of an "unprovoked" attack on his cellmate, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives were called to the jail, at 3200 Airport Road, around 5:30 a.m. Monday. Wolf had choked his cellmate and slammed his head into the floor, officials said.

A deputy at the jail stopped the attack and called paramedics, officials said.

Wolf's cellmate suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized.
Wolf remains in custody at the jail. The investigation was ongoing.
