Boulder County Recruiting For Advisory Boards, Commissions

Boulder County residents are invited to voice their opinions and provide guidance, officials said.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Boulder County is seeking volunteers who would like to voice their opinions and help guide policy decisions, officials said.

The county is recruiting residents for open positions on advisory boards and commissions.

The new board members will provide their input on matters that range from resource conservation to community and work programs. Some seats have specific geographical or skills requirements, officials said.

"Boulder County is working toward its boards and commissions becoming more inclusive and representative of the county at large by increasing the variety of people who participate," the county said in a statement.

"All are welcome to apply; Representation from historically marginalized and underrepresented groups are especially vital for the health and well being of our community."

The deadline for members of the public to view vacancies and apply online for positions is Jan. 15.

  • Fire Code Review Committee
  • Historic Preservation Advisory Board
  • Intellectual or Developmental Disability Mill Levy Advisory Council
  • Metropolitan Football Stadium District
  • Mosquito Control Advisory Board
  • Nederland EcoPass Public Improvement District Advisory Committee
  • Niwot LID Advisory Committee
  • Parks & Open Space Advisory Committee

Advisory boards and commissions provide recommendations to the Boulder County Commissioners and give residents the opportunity to have their voices heard within Boulder County government, officials said.
