Boulder County, Colo. - On May 24, 2021, at approximately 8:17 PM, the Boulder County Communication Center received a 911 call regarding a structure fire in the 6400 block of Bluebird Ave in unincorporated Boulder County. The single-family residence was fully engulfed in smoke and flames. All occupants and animals were able to evacuate the home safely. There were no injuries and no other structures damaged.

Deputies from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, firefighters from Mountain View Fire, Boulder Rural Fire, Longmont Fire, Lafayette Fire, Louisville Fire, Hygiene Fire, Lefthand Fire, and American Medical Response all responded. Firefighters contained the fire to the attached garage and extinguish it shortly after arriving on the scene. The house sustained significant damage; however, it doesn’t appear to be a total loss.
Fire investigators from the Multi-Agency Fire Investigative Team (MAFIT) responded and are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
