Boulder County, Colo. - On February 27, 2021, at about 3:44 p.m., the Eldora Mountain Ski Patrol was notified of two skiers injured on the lower part of the Jolly Jug Run at Eldora Mountain Ski Resort near Nederland, CO. Patrollers responded, along with members of Nederland Fire Rescue, American Medical Response (AMR), and the Boulder County Sheriff's Office to the scene and found two injured teenaged skiers. Reports indicated the two skiers collided while skiing.

The two skiers were treated on-scene and prepared for transport by medical personnel to an awaiting ambulance. Both teenaged skiers were wearing helmets and were considered to be expert skiers.
Both patients were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision is under investigation and the Boulder County Sheriff's Office case report number is #21-993.
