Boulder County, Colo. - On February 27, 2021, at about 8:37 p.m., first responders were dispatched to the 5300 block of N. 113th Street in unincorporated Boulder County, Colorado on the report of a structure fire. A barn had caught fire and was fully engulfed in flames by the time fire personnel arrived.

Fire fighters were able to quickly knock down the flames before the fire spread, but the barn was a total loss and was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The barn served as a welding shop.

There was no damage to any other structures and the incident was completed without injury to the involved personnel.

Members with the Lafayette Fire Department, Mountain View Fire Department, Boulder Rural Fire Department and the Boulder County Sheriff's Office responded.

Members with the Multi Agency Fire Investigation Team (M.A.F.I.T.) were called to the scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation, but doesn't appear suspicious.
