Boulder County Tests Ballots, Equipment For Presidential Primary
The Boulder County Elections Division is conducting logic and accuracy tests ahead of the 2020 elections.
BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Testing was underway Tuesday at Boulder County's Ballot Processing Center in preparation for the 2020 Presidential Primary Election. The Boulder County Elections Division is conducting a "logic and accuracy test" on ballots and equipment to ensure votes are properly tabulated, officials said.
Each type of ballot and all ballot styles were tested Tuesday to verify they are properly printed and read by the scanning equipment, officials said. The test also confirms that scanning equipment settings are properly calibrated for the ballots.
Colorado will hold its first Presidential Primary Election in two decades, and the Boulder County Clerk & Recorder's Election Division has begun a voter education campaign.

The Presidential Primary will be held March 3 – Super Tuesday. Ballots will be mailed to voters beginning Feb. 10.
