Boulder Election 2017 Results: Young, Weaver Top Vote Getters
In a 14-way race, five top vote getters are Mary Young, Sam Weaver, Jill Grano, Cindy Carlisle and Mirabai Kuk Nagle.
BOULDER, CO -- Fourteen candidates vied for five seats on the Boulder City Council during the election Tuesday. The five top vote-getters in the crowded field will be seated as city council members.
Unofficial vote counts posted on the Boulder Co. website appear to show that Mary Dolores Young and Sam Weaver were the two candidates who cracked 10 percent of the vote, with Young getting 11,312 votes, or 10.76 percent, and Weaver pulling in 11,059 votes, or 10.52 percent.
Next in the tally appear to be candidates Jill Grano, Cindy Carlisle and Mirabai Kuk Nagle with 9.39 percent, 9.13 percent and 9.08 percent respectively.
