BOULDER, CO — The City of Boulder’s Open Space and Mountain Parks Department will close Boulder Falls west of the city starting as early as Monday, July 8, to complete additional trail-related repairs in the area, the city said.

While the department completed significant repairs to the Boulder Falls Trail last year and was able to reopen it to the public, there are several remaining repairs that will help to improve visitor experiences in the area, the city said.

The repairs will build on what the department completed following the 2013 floods and will include the installation of a railing along the entire length of the trail, stairs and fences.
