Boulder Wild Fire In Gregory Canyon Spreads, No Injuries

A wild fire in Gregory Canyon on Boulder Open Space land expanded to three acres, Boulder Fire and Rescue said.

BOULDER, CO -- UPDATE: A wildland fire in Gregory Canyon on Boulder Open Space land was "half-way contained," Wednesday and firefighters estimated they would be there all night. The fire had grown to three acres, Boulder Fire and Rescue reported Wednesday afternoon. Police closed Flagstaff Road in both directions near the blaze.

The fire was burning on Open Space near Flatirons Elementary School, but so far firefighters have ordered no evacuations.
