Boulder HS Lockout Lifted: Police Said Sounds Were Not Gunshots
The sounds that caused a lockout at Boulder High School Monday, may have been a car backfiring, police tweeted.

BOULDER, CO -- Boulder police tweeted that sounds that resembled gunshots and caused a lockout at Boulder High School Monday morning may actually have been a car backfiring.
The school was under a lockout, meaning no outsiders could enter and no one could leave, after police were summoned to investigate the sounds.
The lockout has been lifted as of 11:20 a.m.
