Boulder Man Found Dead Near Marshall Lake In Superior
Boulder County Sheriff's officers found a deceased man, age 51, near Marshall Lake in Superior.

SUPERIOR, CO -- Boulder Sheriff's deputies reported a deceased Boulder man was found near Marshall Lake in Superior Sunday afternoon.
A 911 call came in around noon from a man who said he observed what appeared to be the body of a man near Marshall Lake in the 2300 block of 66th Street. Medical personnel responded to the scene and confirmed the man was deceased and that he was a 51-year-old Boulder man.
"Preliminary indications are that the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and no foul play is suspected," the sheriff's office said in a statement.

The Boulder County Coroner's Office will notify next-of-kin and identify the man, the sheriff's office said.
The investigation into the exact circumstances surrounding his death is continuing, the sheriff's office said.
