Boulder Police Accepting Community Academy Applications
A free, 13-week Community Police Academy will begin in September.
BOULDER, CO — The Boulder Police Department is now accepting applications for its free annual Community Police Academy, which aims to promote cooperation, education and understanding of police operations. The 13-week academy will be held from Sept. 4 to Dec. 4, with a break over Thanksgiving.
All sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Participants must be at least 18 years old, live or work in the City of Boulder and agree to a background check. Class size is limited to 20 participants.
