Boulder Homicide Suspect Falls From Table Mesa Park-n-Ride, Dies

Officers fired shots, but it's unclear whether the suspect was shot before he fell from the top of the parking building, investigators said.

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Boulder police are investigating after a homicide suspect fell from the Table Mesa Park-n-Ride Off US 36 and Table Mesa Drive. Officers were first called to an apartment in the 3200 block of 30th Street around 3:15 p.m. Friday.

The person who called 911 told police a husband left the apartment with two children, ages six and 12, possibly armed with a gun. When officers arrived at the apartment, they found a woman dead inside. Police later followed the suspect to the Table Mesa Park-n-Ride. Officers said they tried to negotiate with the suspect on the top level of the parking garage with the two children still inside the car.
