- Gun deaths in Colorado may set record in 2022. So far this year 108 people have been killed in Colorado by guns. 15 of those deaths were children under the age of 18. (Westword)
- Brewing Market employees are planning to unionize. With stores in Boulder, Lafayette and Longmont, workers have taken a key early step toward unionization, and have requested that the employer voluntarily recognize the union. (CO Daily)
- How much radon is in your house? A new law recently went into effect that requires all radon testing and mitigation be done by a licensed, certified business. Radon in homes is linked to nearly 30,000 deaths a year in the U.S. and is attributed as the second-leading cause of lung cancer. (FOX31)
- Driver to be cited in bicycle crash with auto in Broomfield. A 14 year old was seriously injured in a crash in Broomfield last Saturday, and the teen driver that hit them has been charged with careless driving that caused bodily injuries. (9News)
- Boulder wants more money to clear camps. The City of Boulder wants to expand its pilot program that launched in 2021 to clear homeless camps. Whether City Council goes along with that plan, is still up in the air. (Reporting Lab)

The tradition goes all the way back to the 1970s, when Boulder would receive thousands of bulbs from its sister city in the Netherlands. (CO Daily)
