- Boulder planning to revise noise ordinance on University Hill. Almost half of the city's noise complaints are generated from University Hill neighborhood. The City of Boulder is cthinking about making changes that would allow for earlier enforcement. (Yahoo!)
- Colorado's TABOR budget rules run smack dab into inflation. Colorado's Taxpayer's Bill of Rights puts growth and spending caps on the state's budget and is pegged to growth and inflation. The lag time between today's fast-rising inflation and how the state's budget is calculated is causing alarm. (The Journal)
- Woman accused of stealing government credit cards. An employee of the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Lakewood, Dema Martinez, allegedly stole $800,000 in credit cards, and is now facing a 24-count federal indictment for wire and bank fraud. (9News)
- Environmental groups file suit against state regulatory agencies in Colorado and Montana over coal mining compliance rules. Five groups, including the WildEarth Guardians and the Sierra Club, filed a lawsuit over clean air rules being violated at the West Elk Mine. (CO Sun)
- CU's Buffalo Bicycle Classic celebrates 20 years. The 20th anniversary event will include a variety of routes that include one with 8,800 feet of elevation gain. (Coloradoan)
