Here's how it will work: 
<ul><li>Students will receive a link to their testing portal before testing time.</li><li>Plan for 2.5 hours of testing time if using standard time. </li><li>Student with an extended time accommodation&nbsp;should&nbsp;choose 1.5 or 2.0x time.</li><li>Students are allowed to have scratch paper and a calculator (although the DESMOS calculator is integrated into the testing platform). </li><li>A detailed score report will be viewable immediately after the test.</li><li>A complimentary test analysis conversation with an SAT expert is also provided but not required.</li></ul>

The New Pleasant Valley String Band is one of Colorado’s premier live traditional Square Dance bands. Pulling repertoire from the Missouri Ozark square dance tradition, dancers will be carried through the evening with square dances, waltzes, two-steps and more. The band has played a major role in organizing CROMA (Central Rockies Old-Time Music Association) and its festival “The Rocky Mountain Old-Time Music Festival. Band members have performed for dances and taught old-time music across the country.
Dance caller, Larry Edelman, has taught and called traditional square dances for more than 40 years, delighting both novice and veteran dancers with his humor, enthusiasm, skillful teaching, knowledge of dance history, unique repertoire, and colorful calling. Larry travels widely and has performed, called, and taught at music and dance workshops and festivals throughout the U.S. and in Europe, including the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes, Ashokan, Augusta, Pinewoods, Lady of the Lake, Rocky Mountain Fiddle Camp, Berkeley Old-Time Music Convention, Austin Old-Time String Band Festival, Dare to Be Square, and many more. These events provide a safe way to dispose of unwanted files, papers, and documents free of charge and no purchase or commitment of any kind. The only request is that a voluntary monetary donation or an unopened 12-pack of pencils be brought to the event to support the Kids in Need Foundation. Please limit paper waste to the equivalent of five file boxes’ worth and remove file clips before arrival. 

The event on May 9 will take place from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Guardian Storage Superior, located at: 1555 S 76th St, Superior.

About the Artist
Duncan Coker is an unrepentant balladeer from the Colorado piedmont, with a voice that carries and songs that tell stories. Solo or with his band Flattop Rider, he brings a western swagger that lands like leather boots on barnwood and brass.
Mixing western folk rock and red dirt country, Coker’s music channels the wide-open spirit of the American West. Since releasing their debut album in 2024, he and his band have been turning heads — opening for national touring acts and packing out clubs and festivals across the front range. With features on KRFC (Fort Collins), KGNU (Boulder), and Local 303 (Denver), they’ve staked their claim as one of the freshest voices in western roots music. At age 16 Joe played his first paying gig, as pianist in a pub next door to a glue factory just outside of Portsmouth. This was followed by other pub gigs (in which he was often trying to entertain crowds of drunken, bottle-throwing sailors) and accompanying a bouzouki player in a Greek restaurant.
At age 18 Joe won a scholarship to study Composition, Piano, and Percussion at London's Royal Academy of Music.
By 1978 Joe was living in London and hawking an album-length demo, with his own band (Graham Maby, Bass; Dave Houghton, Drums; Gary Sanford, Guitar) standing by. That demo - already called Look Sharp - eventually found its way to American producer David Kershenbaum, who was in London in the capacity of talent scout for A&amp;M Records. Joe was immediately signed and Look Sharp more professionally re-recorded in August '78.
