Here are the top stories today in Boulder:
- Eco-Cycle will have the first large-scale electric compost truck in the U.S. The Boulder-based nonprofit recycler unveiled the new truck on Thursday. The truck is the nation's first commercial-scale electric-powered collection truck for compostable materials. (CO Daily)
- Housing plots turn up on the market for sale in Superior and Louisville. As Boulder County starts removing debris left behind from the Marshall Fire, some are ready to move on and sell their land. (9News)
- Let the Marshall Fire cleanup begin. Boulder County Commissioners move forward with $52M contract to remove structural debris and hazardous trees left behind in the aftermath of the Marshall Fire. The plan is to have it all cleaned up by July 1. (CBS4)
- Commentary: As overdose deaths continue to climb in Colorado, leaders should use evidence-based solutions to overcome the crisis. The War on Drugs failed, its result was not reduced overdose deaths, nor is it a reduction in drug supply. Instead, the results were aggressive racial profiling and militarized policing of poor communities. (CO Newsline)
- CU Boulder's 2021 Campus Master Plan sets vision for the campus. The plan provides guidance for future decisions related to the full spectrum of campus activities, including academics, research and residential life. (CU Today)

- The federal endangered species once again includes the gray wolf. A federal judge reversed a Trump administration decision that removed safeguards and turns wolf management over to state wildlife agencies. (CPR)
- Countering Mis- & Disinformation: Americans, especially in disenfranchised communities, are constantly bombarded with lies and misleading information about our election system, public policies, and government actions. These falsehoods fuel attacks on voting rights and sow distrust in our democratic processes. Interactive chart helps define who is telling the truth, at least from a media standpoint. (LWV)
