Here are the top four stories today in Boulder:
- Wintry weather forces BVSD graduation ceremony change ups. The wintery weather for the weekend has prompted Boulder Valley School District to make changes its graduation schedule, including moving several ceremonies indoors and delaying others. (CO Daily)
- Boulder County temporarily halts ordinance that would prohibit car camping. The ordinance in question, Ordinance No. 2022-1, would impose civil penalties of up to $300 per incident for anyone caught residing on public land. The ordinance defines residing as "temporarily or permanently sleeping, cooking, or otherwise engaged in activities of daily living." (Yellow Scene)
- Old Waterloo Restaurant in Downtown Louisville to be rebuilt. During the construction project, the Old Waterloo restaurant has temporarily moved down the street to 817 Main Street. (Mile High CRE)
- City Council turns down housing block in East Boulder housing plan. As city staff was working to put the final touches on the East Boulder Subcommunity Plan, the Boulder City Council decided to change the zoning code that would have provided as many as 180-housing units. This change comes after protests from nearby pharmaceutical company, CordenPharma. (Reporting Lab)

Labels of marijuana products are confusing or misleading at best, and a new study of some 90,000 samples across six states has found that commercial labels "do not consistently align with the observed chemical diversity" of the product contained inside the packaging. - Seat belts saves lives. Believe it or not, failing to buckle up was a contributing factor of the almost 43,000 people who died nationally in crashes in 2021.
