Child May Have Caused Boulder County House Fire: Officials
When emergency crews arrived, a home was fully engulfed in flames, Boulder County officials said.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — A person was treated for minor injuries after a fire broke out Tuesday in the Gunbarrel neighborhood of unincorporated Boulder County. The fire may have been caused by a child playing with matches, according to Boulder County officials.
Crews were called to the 7,000 block of Park Circle just before 8:30 a.m. after someone called 911.
Upon their arrival, the emergency crews found a home fully engulfed in flames, officials said. The home sustained a substantial amount of damage.

One person who lived in the home sustained minor injuries.

The initial investigation and information provided by witnesses indicate that the fire may have been caused by a child playing with matches; however, the cause and origin of the fire will be further investigated by the Multi-Agency Fire Investigation Team, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office said.
At least eight agencies were called to assist with the fire.
