City Of Boulder Accepting 2020 Funding Proposals
The city's Human Services Fund will award $1.5 million to community agencies that support Boulder residents.
BOULDER, CO — The City of Boulder Housing and Human Services Department is accepting proposals for the 2020 Human Services Fund, the city announced Thursday. The fund will award about $1.5 million to community agencies that deliver social services to residents.
The city "strongly encourages" applications from organizations that work with underrepresented populations, officials said. The HSF funds specific programs, initiatives and projects, rather than general support for entire agencies, and does not provide seed or start-up funding, the city said.
HSF has been accepting multi-year funding applications for the 2019 fund round; however, the 2020 HSF fund round application will be for single-year funding only, the city said.

The City of Boulder, Boulder County and City of Longmont share an application process and are providing free training sessions for agencies interested in applying to any of the HSFs. The sessions will be offered June 18 in Longmont and June 27 in Boulder. The training will help applicants create and describe program outputs and outcomes and complete a program “logic model.” Small-group technical assistance will also be offered by staff from each local government. Prior registration is required, the city said.
Applications are due Aug. 1 at 4 p.m. Click here to download the Request for Proposals document and apply for the 2020 fund round.
