City Of Boulder Holiday Schedule: New Year's Day Closures

BOULDER, CO — While many city services will be closed on New Year's Day in Boulder, some will open on a reduced schedule. Some chain stores and restaurants will also be open.

Open Space and Mountain Parks Ranger Cottage is open on all holidays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking will be free in city garages and on city streets Jan. 1.

Parking will be free after 12 p.m. on Dec. 31. As always, city garages are free Saturdays and Sundays and there is no on-street fee for parking on Sundays.

Closed on Tuesday:

• All administrative offices - close at noon
• All library locations
• Planning and Development Services Center
• All senior centers - close at noon
• All recreation centers – close at 4 p.m.
• Meals on Wheels – closes at noon
• Café Classico
• Police Property and Evidence - closes at noon
• Animal Protection – closes at 5 p.m.
• Code Enforcement
• Boulder Reservoir – closes at noon
• Pearl Street Police Annex – closes at noon

Closed on Wednesday:

• All administrative offices
• All library locations

• East Boulder Community Center - open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• North and South Boulder Recreation Centers
• Café Classico Meals on Wheels
• Animal Protection
• Police Records, Property and Evidence
• Code Enforcement

• Planning and Development Services Center
