City Of Boulder To Host 55+ Job Fair

The City of Boulder is inviting job seekers to register for the 55+ Job Fair to be held at the East Boulder Senior Center Oct. 15.

BOULDER, CO — The City of Boulder is hosting a job fair for those who are over 55 years old. The event will be held at the East Boulder Senior Center Oct. 15, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The job fair will provide a broad spectrum of part-time and full-time employment opportunities for older adults from entry level to management, the city said.

Workforce Boulder County will provide no-cost, 15-minute resume critiques from 1 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. to assist job seekers. Participants can sign up at the beginning of the fair for their critique appointment.

Workforce will also offer a workshop, Get Hired at 55+, which will focus on how to find a job, what websites to use, how to adjust your resume and what to say at interviews.

The job fair is sponsored by the city’s Housing and Human Services and Community Vitality departments, the Boulder Chamber, the Boulder Seniors Foundation and Workforce Boulder County. Admission and parking are free.
