- Marshall fire victims building a climate-friendly house. A family in Superior commits to rebuild with a "less-leaky home" and one that can withstand future wildfires and poor air quality. (CPR)
- Founding director of CU's Center of American West has been fired. Patty Limerick, the professor, author and scholar that started the Center of the American West 37 years ago, has been released from her leadership role at the center. (CO Sun)

- Colorado small businesses only have until Sept. 30 to apply for a Small Business Administration (SBA) federal disaster loan for economic injury caused by the Marshall Fire and straight-line wind event. (BOCO)
- Boulder announces it's plans for Indigenous Peoples Day. As part of the city's commitment to honor Indigenous People, the City of Boulder provides support to organizations that recognize Indigenous Peoples Day through events and celebrations honoring the existence, culture and contributions of the original inhabitants of North America.
