Colorado's Propositions CC, DD: How Boulder County Voted

Here's a breakdown of how Boulder County voted on the statewide ballot questions.

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Two statewide ballot questions were proposed to voters in Colorado Tuesday, and voters in Boulder County supported both measures. Proposition CC, a question asking voters if changes should be made to TABOR, was rejected by the rest of Colorado voters.

Voters were asked whether they would allow the state to keep revenue that's above the state's spending cap. That revenue would then be spent on education and transportation. Because voters decided against the measure, the state will continue to give any money over its revenue limit back to taxpayers, as required by the Taxpayer's Bill of Rights.

Since Proposition CC was rejected, those amounts will be refunded to taxpayers, equating to a refund of about $26 to $90 per taxpayer each year, according to Ballotopedia.
