1. Boulder wants you to turn down the temperature. The city's Cool Boulder campaign hopes to pioneer a new strategy in an era that includes more frequent wildfires and floods caused by climate change. (Reporting Lab)
2. Marshall Mesa Trailhead set to reopen after being closed since the Marshall Fire. The trail system near where Marshall Fire broke out has reopened, along with Marshall Valley and Coal Seam Trails. (FOX31)

The Town of Superior's Planning and Building Department is hosting an open house this Saturday for residents, contractors and developers to learn more about the community core software that is facilitating the rebuilding efforts in the Town of Superior. • Boulder County is set to begin work on final repairs on Sugarloaf Road just up from CO 119, caused by the 2013 flood. (BOCO)
