BOULDER COUNTY, CO — While neighboring counties have each reported dozens of outbreaks at stores this week, Boulder County has only reported one ongoing retail outbreak — the Whole Foods Market, at 2905 Pearl Street, has reported that 30 employees tested positive for the coronavirus, according to state public health data. Over the past week, two new cases have been reported at the store.

Some outbreaks in Colorado have lasted more than a month since they were first detected. The Whole Foods outbreak in Boulder was first reported Nov. 23, the data shows.

If you're concerned about contracting the virus and grocery delivery services aren't an option for you, washing your hands as frequently as possible, social distancing and wearing a mask will go a long way in protecting you while you're inside a store, health officials said.
