CU Boulder Students Threatened With Gun Outside Halloween Store
Police are searching for a man who pointed his gun at three students in Boulder.

BOULDER, CO — Police are searching for a man who pointed his gun at three CU Boulder students Tuesday in outside the Spirit Halloween Store at 2798 Arapahoe Ave in Boulder.
The students had bought clown masks at the store and one student was wearing his, when a man shined a bright flashlight on them, cocked his gun and said "Watch out with that (expletive)," according to the Boulder Police Department.
The students ran off and the man got in a white Chevy Avalanche that was parked in the parking lot, police said.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set male with a grey and white beard. The race of the suspect is unknown at this time.

The University of Colorado Boulder students had just arrived in the United States and didn't know what to do after the crime occurred, police said. The day after they were threatened, they contacted the university's International English Center, which immediately notified Boulder police.
Anyone with information is asked to call Boulder police at (303) 441-3330. Those who have information but wish to remain anonymous can call the Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers.
