Here are the top stories in Boulder today:

  1. Frozen Dead Guy Days shake up. After not being able to come to terms with the town of Nederland to continue the 20 year celebration of a dead guy in a shed, it looked like Frozen Dead Guy Days was DOA for 2023. As luck would have it, the event organizers struck a deal with Estes Park and it will be reborn on St. Patrick's weekend, in partnership with the legendary Stanley Hotel. (CBS4)
  2. Driver of bus sideswipes 32 cars on Pleasant Street. A bus driver has been charged with multiple counts of hit-and-run after he sideswiped more than 30 cars on the 900-1200 block of Pleasant Street. BPD said the bus driver was unaware he had struck any vehicles. (FOX31)
  3. Original location for Pizzeria Locale to close up shop. Pizzeria Locale has five fast casual stores in Denver, but the original restaurant that inspired the chain is set to close on Jan. 1, and after a brand refresh, it will reopen as Pizzeria Alberico. (What Now)
  4. Namaste Solar donating solar subscriptions to 400 families. Namaste Solar is donating community solar subscriptions to 400 low-income families as part of the $100,000 raised by the Keep the Lights on Colorado community giving campaign. (EIN News)
  5. Boulder rolling out new emergency warning system. The new system, called "Zone Haven," will provide the public with immediate access to a map of closures and allow for the flow of critical information faster. (9News)
