Dismembered Body In Suitcase: Boulder Jury Finds Densmore Guilty
Adam Densmore killed Ashley Mead, in Boulder, the jury ruled. Her torso was found in an Oklahoma trash receptacle, stuffed in a suitcase

BOULDER, CO -- A Boulder County jury found Adam Densmore guilty Thursday of killing and dismembering his ex-girlfriend 25-year-old Ashley Mead.
Mead was reported missing in Boulder in February, 2017. Authorities found her her torso in an Oklahoma dumpster on Feb. 15, 2017, stuffed inside a suitcase. Shortly thereafter, Densmore was found in Oklahoma with the couple's child, Winter Daisy, age 1.
Jurors found Densmore, 33, guilty of first-degree murder, tampering with a human body, tampering with physical evidence, and abuse of a corpse, according to the Daily Camera. Mitch Byers of the Camera followed the trial for three weeks, which included testimony from people from across the country.

Prosecutors said Densmore killed Mead at their apartment in Boulder, fearing she would leave with the baby. Police say Densmore drove Mead's body to his family's home in Louisiana, where they allege, he dismembered it.
"I can't thank the jury enough for their service," Boulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty said afterward. "We have justice for Ashley."
