  1. Alternative meats for pet food developed by a Boulder company. Boulder-based Bond Pet Foods is taking a more humane approach to your pet's diet and is producing a line of plant-based protein to feed your pets. (7News)
  2. Rocky Mountain bull elk may have been killed by a mountain lion near Estes Park. Experts believe the elk, fondly know as Kahuna, was more than 10 years old when he died. Typically, free roaming elk live 10-13 years in the wild. (Patch)
  3. Bill that would have prohibited employers from firing workers for cannabis use defeated in committee. House bill 1152 would have eliminated the possibility of workers being fired for off-the-clock cannabis use. (CO Sun)
  4. Details begin to emerge about how the fire started at Mile High Stadium. On Friday, the Broncos were having work done on the East Club Lounge seating area and it appears that some metal work sparked the fire. Eight suites were damaged and nearly 200 third-level seats were destroyed by the fire. (9News)
  5. Is the drought over in Metro Denver? The Denver area has received 42.3 inches of snow since January, which is higher than the 25.8 inches it normally receives, is that enough to diminish the drought conditions we've been living with? (FOX31)
