Here are the top stories in Boulder today:
- City of Boulder's Homeless Day Center Report is now available. One of Boulder City Council's top priorities in 2022 was to develop a plan for a day center for those experiencing homelessness. As part of the community and stakeholder input, the city has developed a report which outlines a path forward on the plan. (Boulder)
- With passage of Boulder's resiliency tax, the city is committed to equity first. On Nov. 8, Boulder voters overwhelmingly approved a new city climate tax which will provide earnings of nearly $6.5 million for climate resiliency efforts. The funding will be spent on things like forest thinning and EV charging stations. (Reporting Lab)
- The price of eggs keeps going up in Colorado. There's not an egg shortage yet, but the avian flu has managed to kill off nearly 85 percent of the egg laying chickens in Colorado. (CO Sun)
- Boulder County is seeking residents input on Wildfire Mitigation and Emergency Service funds. With the recent passage of ballot measures 1A Wildfire Mitigation and 1B Emergency Services, Boulder County is hosting an open house on Nov. 29 open house and an online survey to engage the public in these two ballot measures.
