- Table Mesa King Soopers reopens almost a year after mass shooting. Store management and workers, first responders and community members, including victims' families, gathered for a tear-filled ceremony as the South Boulder grocery store reopened 11 months after a tragic shooting. (Patch)
- Skier crashes into tree at Eldora, dies. A 77-year-old, female skier died Wednesday after she crashed into a tree on Eldora Mountain. (Patch)
- State legislators hatch plan to spend $113 million to reduce crime. The plan would focus on priorities like hiring police officers, increasing security at schools, and supporting victims of crime. (CPR)
