Here are the top stories today in Boulder:

  1. Boulder Shelter is set to lease the Mary Sandoe House. The Boulder Shelter for the Homeless recently announced that it is leasing the former Mary Sandoe House in south Boulder, and could potentially use the facility to provide housing for senior-age women. (Yahoo!)
  2. Hotels are in short supply. Lots of people want to visit the Colorado mountains, but staying in a hotel isn't always the best option. That's caused a rift in many of the region's mountain communities, as they struggle to provide enough housing for locals. (Summit Daily)
  3. Colorado's fastest growing cities. This study looks at growth across the state between 2017 and 2021. Most of the cities included on this list won't be a surprise as to which ones have grown the fastest. (Redfin)

Boulder-based Bond Pet Foods is a startup that makes pet food with proteins developed through a process of fermentation instead of meat. The company is planning to construct a 15,000-square-foot facility in Boulder. (Yahoo!)
  5. Warmer temperatures returning this week. After a cool weekend, warmer temperatures are returning, and metro Denver could see its 65th day over 90 degrees day this year. (FOX31)
