Feed The Frontlines Boulder Kicks Off Amid Coronavirus Spread

BOULDER, CO — Boulder community members have launched an initiative to help healthcare workers and independent restaurants in the city. More than $200,000 was raised by Brad Feld and Amy Batchelor, Dan and Cindy Caruso, John Goldsmith, and an anonymous donor to start the program.

Feed The Frontlines Boulder is providing meals to front line healthcare workers in the city from independent local restaurants. The initiative's organizers partnered with Boulder Community Health to coordinate the program.

The initial $200,000 covers the first 30 days of meals for the hospital, but organizers are hoping to raise another $200,000 to "keep meals flowing" for at least 60 days.

Restaurant partners include Salt, Big Red F Restaurant Group, Kitchen Next Door, Japango, Blackbelly/Santo and Community Kitchen Table. The food services partner at the hospital, BCH Food Services, is helping to receive, distribute, and store the meals delivered by the restaurants.
