Female Gas Station Car-Jacker Still At Large: Boulder Police
The car's owner was dragged across a gas station parking lot as a woman drove off with his car Sunday. Denver police found abandoned car.

BOULDER, CO -- Denver police found the abandoned car, but Boulder police are still looking for the woman who allegedly drove it away from a Boulder gas station, dragging the owner across the parking lot and injuring him, police said.
Boulder police said a driver left his keys in his car at a Conoco gas station at 4700 Baseline Road around 8:25 a.m. Sunday. The driver told police he saw a woman enter his 2006 Blue Nissan Xterra and ran outside to stop her. The driver grabbed the woman, who "put the car in reverse and ragged the victim across the parking lot," Boulder police said in a press statement. "The woman also hit a third-party that was in the parking lot."
The Nissan's owner was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said. The other person hit was injured, but refused medical attention, police said.

The woman who allegedly stole the car was described as a "heavy-set Hispanic woman between the ages of 30 – 35 years-old wearing all dark clothing." The Nissan need up with rear end damage, a broken passenger tail light and a shattered rear window, police said.
At 6 p.m., Boulder Police tweeted that Denver police found the abandoned Nissan.

@DenverPolice have located the vehicle stolen earlier today from the Conoco located at 4700 Baseline Rd. Police are still looking for the suspect.
