  1. University of Colorado designing two new residential buildings. The new on-campus apartment-style residential buildings will house around 400 students each. (CU Today)
  2. Hickenlooper and Bennet continue push for keeping the Space Command HQ in Colorado Springs. Both Colorado U.S. senators are pushing hard to keep the space base in Colorado after two reports showed that Petersen Space Force Base in Colorado Springs was the preferred choice of military leadership.   3. Arvada police officer was killed when responding to a child custody dispute. Sonny Almanza is accused in the murder of an Arvada police officer that was responding to a family disturbance, and says he wasn't trying to kill Arvada Police Officer, Dillon Vakoff. (CO Sun)
  4. Denver's Mutiny Cafe raises enough money from fans to reopen. A bad story breaks good. After having their book store and cafe seized by the City of Denver for non-payment of taxes, the Mutiny Information Cafe has raised enough money from a GoFundMe campaign to pay off the tax debt and clear the way to open their doors again.
