Fire Crews Put Out 6-Acre Grass Fire At CU Boulder

Boulder Fire and Rescue has contained a grass fire that broke out near a Colorado University Boulder building earlier Thursday.

BOULDER, CO — Boulder Fire and Rescue has contained a grass fire that broke out near a Colorado University Boulder building earlier Thursday.

The fire measured more than 6 acres and was successfully contained around 3 p.m., according to Boulder Fire and Rescue.

A number of other agencies assisted Boulder firefighters in putting the blaze out. No injuries have been reported.
