  1. President Biden says Colorado's most destructive wildfire a 'code red' climate warning. "We can't ignore the reality that these fires are being supercharged" by global warming, Biden said as he toured a neighborhood in Louisville that was reduced to ruins by last week's Marshall Fire.   2. King Soopers union members to strike beginning on Wednesday at stores up and down the front range. Union says unfair labor practices are at the center of the controversy as the two sides have been unable to negotiate a new contract. (CO Sun)
  3. The Boulder County Coroner's Office identifies the partial remains found. In the wake of the Marshall fire, Robert Sharpe, 69. Has been identified through DNA analysis and because of scene circumstances as the first fatality of the Marshall Fire. (Gazette)
  4. Costco in Superior reopening after Marshall fire. Located in the Superior Marketplace shopping center, the warehouse retailer's building was only slightly damaged, and repairs have been completed. (FOX 31)
  5. Double whammy. Wayne's Smoke Shack was damaged in Marshall Fire and the owner's home burned down too. (Westword)
