- Will free transit lead to better air quality? Regional officials gathered at Denver's Union Station to kick off a month-long free transit program in hopes of reducing regional air pollution. (Patch)
- The 2022 CU Buffs football team is predicted to finish last in Pac-12. The pre-season poll of media sports luminaries puts the Buffaloes at the bottom of the league. (Gazette)
- Man that left his mother's decomposing body in her home for months ruled not competent to stand trial. Jeffery Apprill had been the caretaker of his 78-year-old mother, but was arrested and charged in connection with the death his mother, Karen Apprill, in 2021. (9News)
- Woman's body found at Realization Point identified. The Boulder County Coroner has identified Alexis Baca as the woman found near the trailhead last Sunday. Authorities suspect foul play and are seeking information from the public to solve the crime. (Yahoo!)
- Wildfire and drought recovery bill passes U.S. House. A bill sponsored by Rep. Joe Neguse, entitled the Wildfire Response and Drought Resiliency Act, condensed nearly 50 bills into a single measure, and will provide desperately needed resources for drought and wildfire stricken states. (CPR)
