  2. CU students seeking more gender-inclusive bathrooms on the Boulder campus. According to CU Boulder's 2021 Campus Culture Survey, an estimated 4.7% of the university's student population identifies outside the gender binary. The availability of gender-neutral bathrooms on campus plays a crucial role in the experience of transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming students at the university. (CU Independent)

Lafayette is collaborating with the Boulder Small Business Development Center to offer a one-time, in-person session to introduce business basics and fundamentals.   4. Holy cow! Gas prices jump 83 cents in less than a month. According to Colorado AAA, the average price for a gallon of gasoline in Colorado has risen by 83 cents in the last month and 31 cents in the last week, reaching $3.65 as of Monday, Jan. 23. That's 36 cents higher than the same time last year. (9News)
  5. Metro Denver cities with home prices increasing the most. The continued real estate boom in Colorado has been attributed mostly to the pandemic. A recent study compiled a list of cities in the Denver metro area with the fastest-growing home prices, using data from Zillow as of December 2022. (FOX31)
