General Election 2020 In Boulder County: Dates, Deadlines

BOULDER COUNTY, CO — The Nov. 3 election is just around the corner, and Boulder County elections officials are busy preparing for another round of vote-by-mail ballots.

The winners of Colorado's June primary have advanced to the Nov. 3 election, which will also include a number of ballot measures and judicial nominees.

Boulder County elections officials are encouraging voters to make sure they are registered to vote and that their voter registration is up to date. Colorado does not have a registration deadline. You can register to vote up through and including Election Day.

Sept. 15

Ballot content will be made available on the Boulder County website.

Sept. 19

Ballots mailed to military and overseas voters.

Sept. 22

National Voter Registration Day (But elections officials encourage Coloradans to register as early as possible)

Oct. 9

Ballots mailed to all active registered voters.
24-hour ballot drop boxes open.

Oct. 19

Boulder County Vote Centers begin opening and the county's ballot-to-go service starts.

Oct. 24

National Vote Early Day: Boulder County elections officials said they "love early voters" — returning your ballot early helps the county process ballots efficiently.

Oct. 26

Last day recommended to return your ballot by mail.
This is also the last day to register to vote and still be mailed a ballot or request a replacement ballot be mailed to you.

Nov. 3 - Election Day

Ballot drop-off and voting services will be available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. to be counted.
