Grass Fire At Boulder Open Space 'Likely Human Caused'
No injuries were reported in a wild land grass fire that burned 1.5 acres on Boulder Co. Open Space land

BOULDER, CO -- A 1.5 acre grass fire Sunday on Boulder County Open Space land that caused no injuries was likely set by humans, either on purpose or by accident, the Boulder County Sheriff's Department said.
At about 3:20 p.m., the sheriff's office received a report of smoke and fire in the Boulder County Open Space near the 16200 block of State Highway 128. Rocky Mountain Fire, Louisville Fire and sheriff's deputies responded, a statement from the sheriff's office said. No property was damaged but grass land was burned.
The fire is under investigation and "likely human caused," the sheriff's department said.
